We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sales Professional to join our Sydney based team working on Australia's most successful trade fair brand, Reed Gift Fairs - connecting leading wholesalers with quality buyers across the following categories: Gift, Kitchen, Homewares, and Jewellery & Fashion.

The Opportunity:


As the Strategic Account Manager you will focus on business-to-business (B2B) selling of expo stands to solution providers and create tailored sponsorship proposals.  You will have responsibility for managing, developing and retaining Strategic Accounts across the portfolio, maximising their participation by understanding and communicating unique value propositions tailored to each specific account and by delivering appropriate marketing/operational solutions to add value to their business.


This is a rewarding position that requires a driven professional with outstanding acumen for business development and relationship-building. Your day will be spent in a high performing, energetic and fun phone-based sales environment, identifying customer needs and assisting clients in finding real time solutions that add value to their businesses.


About you:

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • An overriding focus on the customer
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • 4+ years' proven experience in a B2B sales environment
  • You will have proven sales ability in a competitive environment, with a track record in both business development of new accounts and retention of existing accounts.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
  • Key Account Management experience
  • Flexibility adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities and unpredictable events in a fast paced environment
  • Confident and credible telephone manner
  • Previous experience in a telesales environment focussed on new business generation
  • Experience selling sponsorship is a plus
  • Experience working in the digital or ecommerce industry will be well regarded
