Account Manager

Our Sales team is leading the digital culture in LexisNexis and for our clients. From showcasing online solutions to a small law partnership to demonstrating mobile content on an iPad to a million-dollar account, our passionate and ambitious team is driving innovation within the dynamic sphere of sales. 


As our Account Manager you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients in our corporate market across a territory that includes the metro areas of NSW, ACT and QLD. Working as part of a high-performing Sales team in our Sydney office, this role will closely manage our existing customers, and have a strong focus on growing existing clients through up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, as well as hunting for new business when appropriate.


You will achieve success in this role by:

  • Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities in order to develop a rolling 12-month horizon sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology
  • Bring a long-term approach to all account planning and sales forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with key contacts with the purpose of expanding the penetration of LexisNexis products and solutions
  • Conduct monthly account reviews to ensure we are providing the best solutions and offerings for our clients, and achieving our yearly growth targets

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant sales experience, in corporate account management and client relationship development
  • A solid understanding of solution selling, with the hunger to build your product knowledge within the legal space
  • The hunger and drive to hunt for new business, and the results-focus to see this through to completion
  • Exceptional planning & organisation skills, and the ability to work autonomously when required
  • A proven track record of collaborating across a complex business, with the ability to troubleshoot and influence at all levels
