Job Purpose:  The Global Process Owner is responsible for defining, developing and implementing a consistent, streamlined, global ‘Budget & Forecasting’ solution across the Reed Exhibitions World-wide operations

Key responsibilities:
Design, ownership and the obtaining of business ‘buy-in’ of the global standard process within the B&F function in alignment with the Finance Strategic objectives.
Aligning the global standard process to the global policies when they exist or writing and obtaining stakeholder approval when they don’t 
Form collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders, including the Regional CFOs, BU FDs and Group Finance thereby ensuring high levels of buy in and confidence in the global finance solution
Validating the global standard process against BU requirements and agreeing local process deviations where justified 
Identify, assess and address change management issues related to the to-be process, in alignment with the local Change Managers;
Collaborate closely with the BUs and GTech during the project rollouts presenting appropriate kick-off materials, planning and leading training for the key BU Users, supporting data migration, UAT and post go-live support.
Legislate, obtain support and agree direction from Global and BU Sponsors for all arising conflicts in process design and the related business change;
Driving function towards global standardization with complete and accurate process documentation; 
Identifying areas of inefficiency and non-value added activities which can be resolved via process or system change; 
Manage global enhancement process and prioritise requirements to areas of biggest return / global need, work closely with the GTech BAs to deliver the requirements 
Provide regular updates to the B&F SMEs to keep them informed of application changes, progress on enhancements and to obtain proposals for efficiency improvements
Coordinate, plan and lead execution of reporting rationalization and creation of new global standard reports
Provide key B&F Functional Support to the Live BUs
Ideal candidate profile:
Experience in both an operational budget and forecasting role and an IT related role, either a B&F Business Analyst or GPO with the ability to seamlessly work across both disciplines
Experience of delivering a Hyperion-based project for a Global Company with a good knowledge of the functional capabilities of the product
Key driver or stakeholder within global ERP implementations
Track record of designing and implementing process improvement within a large matrix-based organisation 
Able to operate at both the strategic level but equally able to work at the detailed application level 
Strong analytical, decision-making and organizational skills when delivering multiple projects within tight deadlines
Experience in managing multiple customers and points of contact at all levels within the organisation
Enthusiastic, self-motivated and high levels of energy and drive – especially in the face of resistance or setbacks
Initiates change and has strong leadership skills and has potential to progress within the RX Organisation
Has a passion to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers 
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in both oral and written format to all levels of management and enjoys presenting and training to different sized groups
Highly proficient in English, oral and written, with other languages (i.e. Portuguese, French, Mandarin, Japanese) a definite plus
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and knowledge of Hyperion Planning and Oracle EBS v12 or equivalent 
Able to travel to support implementations across the globe
