The Director of Operations in the Claims Records Unit – ‘CRU’ is accountable for leading and managing a 100+ person organization with locations in Georgia (primary), Pennsylvania and Manila.  This dynamic team is responsible for acquiring, processing and managing Police Records / Reports for insurance carriers and law enforcement agencies across the county.  This role is also responsible for continued improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing ongoing efficiencies and / or cost savings through automation and process improvements.  Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of departmental strategies, policies and practices.


The desired candidate will have experience managing people leaders while demonstrating the ability to provide successful coaching and development to leaders and individual contributors.  This role will be expected to inspire and foster an engaged work environment by modeling positive leadership behaviors and best practices.  The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with a demonstrated track record of navigating difficult situations, influencing others and negotiating successful outcomes.

  • Manage Field Operations
  • Responsible for product execution and delivery
  • Monitor performance through business applications
  • Negotiate service/expectation gaps with customers, sellers and other stakeholders as required.
  • Insure regulatory compliance
  • Insure appropriate productivity/quality/timeliness of Operations staff.
  • Insure company desired cost structure through review of cost structure and efficiency improvements.
  • Insure consistently high customer satisfaction through delivery of product solution in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Works with Sr. Director and VP Ops/Product Mgmt to develop & enhance assigned Product(s).                             
  • Implements product changes into the client environment
  • Provides appropriate client feedback
  • Participates in the sales process and client coordination.
  • Work with technical development staff to help define enhancements and upgrades to the current applications.  Ensure proper installation and usage of these developments.
  • Personnel Development.
  • Insure proper and adequate training of field personnel
  • Administrative Responsibility                                                                                                   
  • Logistical management of facility, proper implementation of field systems, i.e. Telephone systems, technical hardware, etc.
  • Administer performance and salary review of direct reports.  Motivate staff to attain performance goals and facilitate their personal and professional growth via, coaching, feedback and performance goal setting.
  • Secondary Functions:    
  • Provide input and decisions on marketing opportunities & company strategy
  • Bachelors Degree                                              
  • 10+ years of similar experience including at least 5 years management of  a large service organization.                                            
  • High level management capabilities
