Position- Digital Marketing Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities 

This role will be focused toward organizing and driving the digital marketing framework as per marketing function strategies of LexisNexis India and would require working along with relevant stakeholders, managing events, formulate & implement the PR plans.

Marketing Events

·         Organizing and Managing Participation in Trade Shows/Fairs, book launches, captive events, third party events and sponsorships.

·         Manage and maintain events/conference build-out budgets. Post-conference budget reconciliation in a cost-effective manner.

·         Effective logistic management and inventory control. Knowledge about venue bookings and logistics management.

·         Research future event/conference venues and prepare a yearly events calendar.

·         Interacting with customers in events and generating database for the same.

Social Media and Digital Marketing

·         Executive and manage the company’s digital marketing plans as per implementation framework in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.

·         Manage social media campaigns for India including planning phase, Execution, Analytics & Reporting, budget adherence.

·          Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

·         Develop key evaluation metrics and continually evaluate the ROI/impact of campaigns, making course corrections if needed.

·         Lead innovative campaigns that drive brand awareness, consideration and preference, ultimately influencing the sales pipeline and revenue.

·         Tracking and optimization of campaigns across all digital channels.

Interdepartmental coordination, vendor management and Analysis

·         Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our target audience.

·         Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure the branding/voice of all our social media outlets are cohesive with other channels and initiatives

·         Build collaborative, consultative relationships across the organization.

·         Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.

Media & PR

·         Connect and coordinate with the negotiating for ad rates in Print & Online media.

·         Formulate and implement the monthly PR plans

·         Prepare press releases / pitch notes and make pitches to the media




Education: Specialized/ Technical

·   PG (Mass Communication) or MBA from a good institution with specialization in Marketing preferred


·     Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with 1-2 years of digital marketing and event management experience


·         Excellent knowledge of marketing and sales processes, business/customer development processes and project management

·         Should be an expert in forwarding thinking, marketing research with excellent problem-solving skills

·         Should have outstanding communication skills with an excellent ability to listen to customers attentively and understand/distill the core/essence of customers’ feedback to plough it back into the organizational learning system

·         Digital Marketing and Event Management skills.

·         Ability to handle multiple assignments/campaigns simultaneously

·         Efficiently work under pressures, deadlines, and stretch extra hours to complete assigned task

·       Proven knowledge in product marketing, marketing research and competition tracking
