We have two fantastic opportunities to join Proagrica, a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing various IT (Data analytics, Integration, Precision Agricuture) solutions for a variety of customers from major banking institutions to  leading online retailers to agricultural co-ops in South Africa.
 
Based from Fourways, Johannesburg, we’re looking for two Customer Support Technicians to join our team. The role will involve interfacing with customers on a daily basis as well as being mentored by management & senior staff in order to grow in their abilities & career.
 
Requirements:
• Proven customer support related experience
• Experience with reading markup languages (XML, HTML)
• Understanding of Basic Programming concepts
• Excel – intermediate user

Advantageous:
• Linux “operational” experience
• Any programming experience
• ITIL certified
• Database / SQL scripting

Primary Responsibilities:
• Proactive monitoring, identification & resolution of possible problems.
• Provide support to customers via telephone, email, online chat and helpdesk application
• Incident Logging on helpdesk application
• Correct identification of customer problems, logging, escalation/resolution & feedback.
• Customer Training on various Applications
• Customer on-boarding on various Applications
• Operate in a professional and trustworthy manner
• Application testing
• Post-deployment checks
• Documenting Known Issues / Solutions on Internal Knowledgebase / Wiki
• Change Request Documentation
