CONTRACT SPECIALIST – ACCUITY - EVANSTON

Accountabilities:

 

·         Support the Contract Management on all Contract Management related activities.

·         Work with the legal team and business team members, and in particular sales and technology, to draft or respond to contract proposals, support negotiation and manage contract review and approval processes.

·         Manage all content in the Contract Lifecycle Management tool and act as lead administrator in the Contract Lifecycle Management Tool.

·         Manage contract renewals and expiry dates of contracts aswell as tracking key milestones and deliverables.

·         Track contract exceptions through reporting and remedial actions.

·         Help to manage issues that arise from contract (problem resolution).

·         Tracking commercial objectives and planned business benefits are achieved in the contract.

·         Tracking costs and expenditure under a contract.

·         Tracking contractual performance by all parties.

 

The role will report into the Contract Specialist.

  

Qualifications:

 

·         A Bachelor’s degree in law or other related field from an accredited college is required. 

·         2+ years working with contracts or evidence of some legal training.

·         2 + years working on a Contract Lifecycle Management tool.

·         Experience of working in Salesforce.

·         2+ years of experience in contract negotiation or drafting in the software/services industry.

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word.

·         Ability to quickly grasp complex contractual details and their commercial environment.

·         Experience of working in an international environment, preferably in or with a matrixed multi-national organization.

·         A collaborative attitude, building strong relationships with all stakeholders.

·         A genuine interest in new technologies and innovation.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills. 

·         Good decision-making ability.

·         Ability to communicate and interact effectively with business unit corporate staff and all external contacts.

·         Strong integrity and business ethics.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines, resilient and calm under pressure.

·         International and cross border experience would be a plus.

·         Excellent communication skills to navigate a complex multinational organization with multiple stakeholder groups.
