Reed Exhibitions is looking for more talented individuals with strong relationship building skills to be Attendee Acquisition Managers.  Attendee Acquisition Managers are responsible for executing on Reed’s Targeted Attendee Program (TAP).   Our TAP program is designed to identify attendees with the most influence and/or buying power within a specific industry sector and work with them to appreciate the benefits of attending a specific show.  The Attendee Acquisition Manager is adept at uncovering customer needs and developing creative solutions to address them.  This position will identify, build, and sustain attendee customer relationships before, during and after the show.

About the event:

 

INTERPHEX is a premier pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device development and manufacturing event and sponsored by the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA). Dedicated to Innovation, Technologies and Knowledge, the show focuses on the entire product development life cycle. Held in New York City, it brings over 10,000 global industry professionals together with 600+ suppliers through a unique combination of exhibition, no cost technical education, workshops, partnering opportunities, and networking events.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Increase show attendance by outreach to target attendees to drive quality buyer participation at events

·         Cultivate relationships with key customers and industry groups to drive attendance

·         Work closely with marketing and show team to develop and facilitate an enhanced onsite events for key customers

·         Maintain thorough understanding of the business and the industry-  translate that knowledge into solid attendee-development practices

·         Develop strong understanding of competitive landscape

·         Connect exhibitors to the right attendees  based on buyer-seller needs

·         Responsible for results reporting, tracking reports and list development along with data integrity

·         Become an expert on buyer data and act as a liaison between sales and marketing

·         Educate buyers/attendees on all aspects of the show; including new events, registration, matchmaking services, educational offerings, floor-plan review and online show planner tools

·         Develop key TAP customer relationships through face to face visits, phone calls and e-mails to understand organizational structure, buying needs, trends, etc. that will ultimately translate to new programs created to answer their challenges.

·         Research and Identify new attendee target segments with the potential to deliver high level attendee buyers from leading attendee companies within the sector.

·         Attend appropriate competitive shows and key industry events to strengthen and develop customer relationships and prospect new business.

 

Qualifications

Education

·         College Degree in business, marketing or related field

·         MBA

·         Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge/Experience preferred

·         3-6  years of Account management/Sales or related experience desired

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail needed

·         Strong productivity computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·         Excellent organizational and planning skills required

Travel

As required.
