The Assistant to the President manages all tasks associated with the office of the President.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manages organizational programs overseen by the Office of the President including:
    • Management of on-site and off-site programs led by senior management including operational support, determination of venues and negotiation of prices and signing of contracts associated with events; and oversight of event production including presentations; audio/video needs; catering needs, etc.
    • Manages coordination of all regular Senior Management meetings.
  • Handles all administrative matters related to the Office of the President including:
    • Manages executive calendars; determines appropriateness of visitor requests, and schedules appointments and necessary.
    • Maintains and publishes corporate monthly calendar for Senior Leadership Team of RX.
    • Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
    • Performs complex and confidential administrative functions. Responds to routine external correspondence. Prepare memos, payment requests and other department forms and documents.
    • Arranges complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, compiles documents for travel-related meetings.
    • Prepares weekly expense reports for President and oversee expense reports for Senior Leadership group.
    • Acts as liaison with World Wide Board and Latin America business.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and personal matters.
  • Handles all other assignments as may be necessary.

 

 

  • Demonstrated professional experience in the following areas:

o    Interpersonal skills and communication skills—the individual maintains confidentiality, speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative and prepares written communication for office as needed.

o    Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.

o    Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

o    Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance

  • Excellent computer skills in Word, Outlook
