General Description:
  • To work within various customers to, understand, identify, and make suggestions on system capabilities or lack thereof
  • Plan solutions, recommend software and systems and coordinate development to meet business or other requirements
  • Provide expert advice and skills in identifying shortfalls, closing gaps and improving solutions
  • Write user requirement specifications and assist with the compilation of technical specifications
  • The role will require the co-ordination of various resources across different teams and organisations to deliver for the customers
  • Must be able to function in a dual role of account manager and project manager with the emphasis mainly on account management
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Account and project management of various key customers and projects.
  • Interacting extensively with internal & external clients to learn & document requirements that are then used to produce a solution
  • Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business stability
  • Troubleshooting and detailed problem analysis
  • Properly document business requirements for client solutions
  • Perform system testing and assist with deploys to live environment
  • Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs
  • Plan a system flow from the ground up
  • Developing project feasibility reports
  • Drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems
  • Presenting proposals to clients;
  • Working closely with programmers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met
  • Overseeing the proper implementation of the new system
  • Document requirements and contribute to various manuals & project documents
  • Planning and working flexibly to a deadline
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Personal relationship management of assigned clients, including regular contact and forming a good working relationship with the client
  • Support of developed/deployed solutions with key customers
  • Focus on building quality solutions for clients
  • Reusable code/solutions
  • Personal project management of assigned projects within agreed time and resource constraints
