We are looking for a committed, high-energy User Experience Training Specialist to be responsible for training clients and colleagues on the use and functionality of IP solutions to help them achieve their business goals. As a User Experience Specialist, you will provide one on one and group product training and support telephonically and via the web to attorneys, patent agents, librarians and support staff in both law firms and corporations across the US. In addition to becoming an expert on the functionality of LexisNexis products, User Experience Specialists assist with product testing, recording, curriculum development, certifications and corporate events.


Accountabilities

·         Develop an extensive working knowledge of the Reed Tech IP product suite including TotalPatent, PatentOptimizer, and PatentAdvisor.

·         Provide in-depth one on one and small group training sessions via the web including, but not limited to, consultations on constructing/translating searching queries, work flow optimization, best practices and analytics.

·         Develop and create monthly public training webinars, instructor materials and user documentation.

·         Manage client relationships during and after training classes to ensure high satisfaction.

·         Utilizes quality control measures such as class evaluations and client feedback to ensure consistency, effectiveness and professionalism of teaching presentation.

·         Assist and support users via phone and email.

·         Conduct regular surveys to measure the effectiveness of the training programs.

·         Provide training coverage for the User Experience Manager when scheduling conflicts arise.

·         Work closely with the User Experience Manager and IP Account Managers to coordinate new customer implementations, develop appropriate ongoing training plans and ensure all clients have a positive user experience.

·         Assists with product issues as necessary. Helps with quality assurance before and during the product development process. Reports issues appropriately to improve product quality.

Qualifications

·         JD or comparable relevant work experience.

·         Minimum one to three years of experience in a training, consultant or customer service role.

·         Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting applications.

·         Experience with Adobe Professional a plus.

·         Demonstrate excellent teaching skills for adult learners, appropriate for a business environment to maximize client satisfaction.

·         Possess a broad general knowledge of Reed Tech IP and services.

·         Possess excellent presentation (online and classroom), communication, and interpersonal skills.

·         Energetic and self-motivated with strong interpersonal, persuasion and facilitation skills with people of different levels.

·         Must possess acceptable time management, problem solving, troubleshooting, decision making, presentation and organization skills.

·         Must have the ability to plan and independently execute work with minimal supervision.

·         Must be able to work well in a team environment to reach common goals.

·         Must be able to communicate well with individuals from different departments and levels of responsibilities.

·         Experience training at professional services firms preferred.

·         Position requires a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
