Job Purpose:


Product Manager responsible for Accuity’s VIP software and data assets that support its Financial Crime Screening portfolio.  The role is accountable for defining the strategy, positioning and roadmap for Accuity’s VIP proposition ensuring that we are seen as the leading provider in this space.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:


·         Develop and own the VIP product strategy to meet short and long term revenue goals

·         Align VIP strategy with strategy of Accuity financial crime screening portfolio

·         Ensure continuous innovation within their products through market analysis and customer discovery

·         Bring a customer-focused, data-driven approach to product development to ensure “product-market fit”

·         Interface with Agile development teams through product delivery

·         Ensure clear communication for both internal/external stakeholders (e.g. project status, go-to-market/launch activities)

·         Collaborate with Account Management, Professional Services, and Business Solutions to provide detail on relevant market changes, positioning of products, and value to the clients.

·         Collaborate with other Product Management and Product Technology staff to ensure coherence of the overall portfolio

- High emotional intelligence.  Strong influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to operate with tact and diplomacy to achieve a desired outcome.  Able to gain commitment and confidence from teams who are not direct reports.
- Able to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time affectively.
- Takes the initiative – thinks and acts ahead of the game to achieve the desired results.
- Ability to handle changing requirements and unforeseen problems rapidly, positively and calmly.


Experience Required:


-       Proven product management (data & software) experience within a B2B environment essential

-       Knowledge of financial services industry, trade finance/compliance experience preferred.

-       Experience within the area of financial services regulation and compliance desirable.

-       Working with SaaS and on-premise software solutions
