Senior Delivery Manager/Agile Coach

We now require a Senior Delivery Manager to join the ClinicalKey Reference Suite team which develops applications that help clinicians deliver better care and improved patient outcomes.
Summary:
Pivotal to the success of the Clinical Key development team, the Senior Delivery Manager is accountable for managing the Agile Delivery of 2 or more (new or established) squads and to drive a strategic vision for agile practices across one and multiple teams. They will be an active agent of change and provide mentorship and coaching on agile practices within and outside of the squad. In addition, they’ll find and share best practices and participate in stretch assignments to create process efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities for the wider Technology team.
Accountabilities:
- Lead Agile Practices including facilitating daily stand-ups for multiple teams regardless of their stage of team development; other core agile ceremonies (retrospectives, planning, reviews)
- Ensure the squad has everything they need to deliver the outcomes in the product roadmap, including environment, metrics visibility, resources (people and other), etc.
- Be outcome focused by applying key agile methodologies with the ability to provide coaching to others in roles outside of own discipline.
- Take an empathetic approach that leads, guides and empowers groups through processes that help them make decisions and come to solutions
- Manage stakeholder relationships, support the Squad Leads, report to the wider organization, and whatever else necessary to support the squad in delivering valuable outcomes for our customers.
- Ability to spot "warning signs", so that blockers are removed and successful delivery of the product is enabled.
- Ability to facilitate large working sessions within the team and with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to assist in forward-scheduling deliverables in order to visualize scope and timelines to manage expectations.
- Enthuse and energize the team and cultivate a high-performance culture through positive appraisal all the while seeking constructive outcomes in discussions.
- Possess a commitment to the health and happiness of the squad members and how they work together.
- Build trust, encourage and motivate the squad, and protect them from external distractions so they are able to focus.
- Passion for making working with the squad, and within the organization, an enjoyable experience.
- Mentor more junior DMs so that they have the support they need to grow within the organization.
Experience and Education:
- 5+ years of Agile facilitating experience / leading Agile transitions and of working closely with development teams; demonstrating deep knowledge of agile development capabilities, in a leadership role.
- 3+ years of experience with agile software development life cycle from conception to delivery
- Advanced Agile certifications a plus (e.g. A-CSM or higher in ScrumAlliance)
- Demonstrable experience using a variety of agile tools and techniques e.g metrics to help the squad keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value towards the product vision.
- Demonstrable Agile framework skills and applicable methodologies and a passion for learning new tools and latest trends to drive increased efficiency through experimentation and collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to run agile reports, including custom and complex reports.
- Intermediate knowledge of Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, and associated add-ons)
- Strong knowledge of MS Products
- Exceptional organizational/task prioritization and decision-making skills and follow through.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required.
