Senior Account Manager – Farmers Weekly – Sutton


Farmers Weekly, part of RBI’s global agriculture business, Proagrica, is the market leading brand which operates at the heart of the Farming market.  

We require an experienced sales account manager who has demonstrable success in developing existing accounts and driving new business opportunities in our recruitment and careers sector.


You will take on the opportunity of realising the massive potential to transform our careers business by maximising growth from transactional business and more so by engaging with the largest employers in UK agriculture and the supply chain.


You will be at the forefront of embedding a brand new opportunity for employers to communicate not only their jobs but their story as an employer of choice in this industry.


Already a business generating well over £1m of annual revenue across digital, print and the industry’s leading careers event, Ag Careers Live, there is a huge opportunity for growth by leveraging a fast moving trend for professionalization and adopting new skills in UK Agriculture.


Your experience working within the careers and jobs marketplace, along with ideally a first-hand experience with the Madgex platform, will be paired with an appetite to really achieve something that can truly be down to you as an individual and is a core pillar of the Farmers Weekly growth strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of the largest industries in the UK and develop your sales career.  You will be part of a large 15 strong UK Media Sales team and absolutely integral to the growth potential of the business.

  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Able to inspire trust and confidence with customers 
  • Demonstrable understanding of the sales proposition and process 
  • Able to compile accurate pipeline and sales forecasts



  • Track record of success in a B2B sales role within the careers and job marketplace along with first-hand experience with the Madgex platform would be highly beneficial
  • Strong IT skills, able to pick up systems quickly and CRM knowledge
  • Knowledge/experience of delivering against individual KPIs
