Sales Manager – Energy, EMEA
Reports To: Head of Sales, EMEA
 
As Sales Manager for Energy, you will be responsible for the sale of all products within the Energy portfolio across EMEA. This new expanded role will bring together data sales and analytics sales under one single team structure, maximising opportunities to deliver high value solutions to clients and prospects in this fast moving, liquid market place.
 
Your primary focus is to build on the strong financial performance achieved in 2017, accelerate new client acquisition and maintain double digit growth. You will help to define and deliver the ICIS sales strategy for core business, accelerating the journey towards value-based selling for our market-leading benchmark pricing data services and develop go-to-market approaches for ICIS regional clients across the region.
 
In this key regional role it is essential that you have strong leadership skills that enable you to influence all business functions, contributing to the continuous improvement of all areas of the ICIS business.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·         Establish a single team responsible for selling all Energy products in EMEA
·         Accelerate revenue growth the packaging of new analytical services.
·         Own and deliver the sales strategy for the regional Energy sales team in EMEA.
·         Inspire the sales team to deliver outstanding, over-target, performance.
·         Communicate powerfully and effectively.
·         Represent the business through frequent client engagements.
·         Work with the Market Engagement team to further strengthen our position in the Energy sector.
·         Collaborate with all functions to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
·         Report clearly, forecast accurately.
 
 
Requirements:
·         Demonstrable experience in a sales leadership position.
·         Experience in restructuring sales teams 
·         Experience in selling high-value data and analytics solutions into the financial sector.
·         Demonstrative experience at delivering positive sales transformation.
·         A deep understanding of value based selling.
·         Relevant industry knowledge.
·         The ability to travel frequently.
