Global Relationship Manager - Accuity - New York, NY


Reporting to Global Account Managers and the Global Sales Director, the Global Account Relationship Manager (GRM) is a critical role essential to the success of long term relationships between Accuity and the top Global accounts.


The GRM is knowledgeable of customer contracts, commitments and product usage. GRMs have the ability to impact our business by expanding relationships with important large customers. Assigned to five to seven Global Account Tier 1 customers, the GRM is responsible for achieving sales renewals, existing revenue subscriptions and assigned global account objectives.  Especially skilled GRMs are able to generate new business revenue from assigned accounts.


The GRM represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.


Job Responsibilities:


Establishes productive, professional relationships with various levels of personnel in assigned customer accounts.

 

Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

 

Conducts training to assigned accounts as needed.

 

Understands Accuity’s business and products and the value that we bring to our Customers.

 

Meets assigned targets for sales renewals and existing business and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

 

Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period in coordination with Global Account Managers and Global Account Directors.

 

Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

 

Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

 

Meets assigned expectations for renewals and existing revenue subscriptions

 

Contributes to team achieving assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.

 

Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

 

Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed

 

This position will have direct report staff assigned to support responsibilities in specific customers.



Profile requirements


·         1+ year of customer service or relationship management preferred.

·         Experience working closely with other departments on accounts that includes sales, support, product management and other lines of business internally

·         Experience with Salesforce.com required, proficiency desired.

 

·         Ability to work independently and across various cultures and time zones.

 

·         Personal Attributes - highly motivated relationship manager with a mature and positive attitude and a passion for working with customers and partners.

 

·         Demonstrable skills in time management, relationship building, organizational and presentation skills.

·         Qualifications - Degree qualified (bachelor’s degree required, Master’s/MBA preferred)

 

·         International travel may be required (minimal)
