The Professional Service Leader is responsible for developing and executing solution related professional services for LexisNexis Risk Solutions Financial Crime Compliance clients. This individual will work across the LNRS organization to define client professional service engagements, develop new business opportunities with front line sales teams, lead professional service engagements and implement LNRS professional services strategy. This role will lead client discussions and develop engagement strategies to address client business needs. This role will also lead scoping, documentation efforts and execution for new client engagements. 

Basic Job Function: This role is a champion for Professional Services and focused on building repeatable service offerings that will allow us to scale our delivery to meet the increasing market demand. This role will assist with the sales process by defining solutions leveraging our products to meet our client's business needs. They will identify, develop and implement consulting best practices. This role will be responsible for the overall delivery of professional services to our clients. This role will collaborate with LNRS Market Planning to create and enhance products and services for our clients.  

Responsibilities: 
  • Leads client discovery discussions and identifies solutions leveraging LexisNexis products and services. Assists clients during their planning phase to derive development of requirements, scope and execution plan.
  • Works with clients to document the scope of an engagement in a formal Statement of Work.
  • Prepares and delivers professional client presentations to audiences at all levels. Confidently presents to clients and internal stakeholders conveying industry and product expertise.
  • Maintains detailed understanding of all aspects of products and services in our professional services portfolio, evolves portfolio as necessary.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of profit and loss analysis in related industries. Makes strategic business decisions based on this data.
  • Builds strategic relationships with key client stakeholders and decision makers. Develops LexisNexis 'advocates' at client sites who promote our solutions and subject matter expertise.
  • Proactively contributes innovative ideas and collaborates with market planning to develop and/or enhance products, service offerings and related operational deliverables.
  • Responsible for leading or contributing to all phases of the client project life cycle and executing timely project delivery.
  • Lead client service delivery providing leadership and oversight of project execution and delivery.
  • Facilitates timely decisions to maintain project schedule and budget; identifies project risks early and assists by providing prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance.
  • Sets and manages client expectations; creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions, continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or equivalent. 
  • Travel: Must be able to travel 40% of the time.
  • Consultative Ability: Strong consultative skills with the ability to collaborate and to explore options, to demonstrate and effectively use active listening skills to understand client needs.
  • Client Service Orientation: Expert-level ability to use data quality concepts and tools to effectively resolve client issues, while valuing client needs as high priority.

Industry Experience: 

  • 10+ years industry experience in Financial Crime Compliance, Risk Management, (AML, OFAC, KYC, CDD, EDD, AML Data Governance/Management preferred). 

  • 7+ years client-facing or internal/external consulting experience preferred.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify and remediate risk associated with client engagements and their execution.
  • Innovation: Expert-level affinity to try new methods and new approaches to problem solving while demonstrating an intellectual curiosity and inquisitive nature.
  • Leadership: Ability to effectively set direction, align constituencies, and motivate others, while demonstrating vision and ability to influence others. 
  • Planning / Organization: Advanced organizational and project management skills. Knowledge and understanding of full lifecycle project management. Prior business analyst experience is required. 
  • Presentation Skills / Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Expert-level ability to deliver client presentations and performance analysis via the telephone and in-person to high-level clients and senior management. Ability to create custom market-facing presentations for specific clients or templates to use by other team members.
  • Problem Solving / Judgment: Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to understand and think analytically about complex business problems. Focus on enterprise-wide strategic projects.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate of up-to-date and in-depth product knowledge both internal and competitive.
  • Relationship Building: Strong relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate and interact effectively with market planning, sales, product development, product management, operations and related groups.
  • Results Orientation: Strong time management skills and strict adherence to timelines, with the ability to operate within a structured approach and to deliver results. Possesses the ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently. Self-motivated.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment, by soliciting input and feedback. Deals effectively with conflict.
