You will be working in ICIS Marketing department, part of RBI. Reporting to Head of Product Marketing.


Job Purpose:

You will be developing and implementing high-impact marketing strategies and programs that strengthens the product brand, increase buyer and user awareness, drive usage and sales. You will be responsible for creating the go-to-market strategy for global ICIS product offerings. This role reports to the Head of Product Marketing, and contribute to both, marketing and product teams.


You will develop clear market segmentation, product positioning and messaging, devise, and oversee the execution of marketing programs targeted towards ICIS key customer segments to make sure products stand out from competitors in the marketplace and target relevant audience and personas.

To be successful in this role you will align and work closely together with Product Management, Regional Marketing, Sales, Market Engagement, suppliers and customers. You will make the customer and their needs your primary focus in all of your actions.

You will be managing Senior Product Marketing Executive role under your responsibilities.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Market segmentation and product positioning
• Working with analytics teams to collect and interpret customers and prospects data and insights in order to support a deeper understanding of ICIS customer and marketplace
• Summarize key customer user pain points – based on NPS studies, customer research data and reports- and define how the product fits in users’ workflow and adds value
• Understand the global market and market segments. Develop market intelligence and expertise on industry sectors, buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria, including expertise on competition
• Develop product positioning and messaging articulating the key value and strength and differentiating from its competitors
• Proposing segmentation of audiences for new product launches
• Conduct market sizing & gap analysis exercises where relevant to understand and advise on biggest growth’ opportunities
Strategy & Planning of Effective Marketing Programs
• Develop comprehensive Go to market strategy & plan outlining key objectives and activities
• Define and monitor KPO’s and KPI’s for measuring effectiveness of product marketing programs, in collaboration with analytics team and aligned with business outcomes
• Work closely with Product Managers to build the go-to-market plan to support and grow the product offerings, including prioritising and aligning target audiences, developing effective messaging and building content architecture
Sales enablement
• Communicate the value proposition of the products to regional sales teams, and train sales in communicating the proposition to institutional buyers, institutional management, and users
• Develop necessary sales tools that support the selling process, in collaboration with sales enablement colleagues, business development, pricing and other partners

Key Skills Required:
• Proven marketing experience in a B2B environment, in named or strategic account model aligned closely with sales and with relevant industry experience is preferred
• Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization and with external customers, including the ability to interface professionally with clients
• Strong project management, planning and organizational skills with attention to detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate a customer-focused attitude and be confident in dealing with multiple departments and senior management within the business
• Demonstrated skills in messaging, positioning offerings


Experience Required:
• Deep understanding of customers, buyers and market, in-depth customer/user workflow; financial value of customer
• Extensive expertise in all aspects of go-to-market strategy for products, solutions, industries and services
• Competitive landscape – market segments, buying centres, disruptors & current and changing market trends
• Product roadmaps, tactical targets and strategic direction
