National Account Manager - Accuity - Evanston

In order to penetrate the market better, we are searching for a hunter with in-depth new business experience and with a long-term view and perspective to build up extensive relationships in the banking sector and non-banking financial sector to gain new clients and more business from existing clients.

 

Reporting to the Sales Director in Evanston, IL and working as part of our award winning sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new business from prospects and existing accounts through sales of Accuity solutions to our prospect clients. You will plan, organize and execute sales campaigns to maximize revenue generation and attend exhibitions and conferences as required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Achieves sales and renewal targets for assigned market and accounts in assigned territory

·         Identifies new business opportunities to increase market share or penetration of Accuity solutions

·         Delivers against challenging KPIs and objectives as assigned by senior management

·         Reports and Forecasts on performance against objectives on a regular basis

·         Maintains accurate and informative prospect and customer records using Salesforce.com

·         Creates account plans for significant prospects to ensure the successful management of opportunities in line with agreed expectations

·         Regular contact with prospects and existing customers to develop relationships to better understand their business, their goals and their requirements

·         Establishes strong working relationships with all other areas of Accuity in order to develop and deliver customer solutions

·         Delivers a high level of customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach

·         Attends conferences and exhibitions as required and represents the sales team

·         Shares best practice across the sales team

·         Keeps abreast of any changes in the industry/market by talking to customers, industry experts, partners and own research; and interprets the changes and the effects this will have on the solutions

·         Monitors competitor activity in the market place – records and shares information and responds accordingly

 

 Key skills required:  

 

·         Direct B2B solution sales

·         New business & extensive cold calling experience

·         Good in Network building

·         Information / software solutions sales

·         Communication skills

·         Proactive and self-motivated

·         Organization skills

·         Results driven

·        

 

Experience required:  

 

·         Preferably in the Data/Software/IT sector but also good sales people from financial industry or other sectors will be given a chance

·         2-5 years of consultative sales experience

·         Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)

·         Experience selling data/software solutions would be an advantage
