Marketing Manager - Americas - Accuity - Evanston

 

 

The role of the Marketing Manager - Americas is to take responsibility for setting direction for the business's marketing plans in each region, ensuring that the plan is aligned to local sales and business strategy.

 

You will drive and execute targeted corporate and regional initiatives, while ensuring unique buyer needs in regional or local markets are taken into consideration. You will make the voice of the region heard and provide localised insights.

 

You will plan and execute the marketing strategy and lead the guardianship of the brand in your region, ensuring its look and feel and implementation is consistent with the brand guidelines and instructions.

 

You will work closely with regional sales managers and directors, ensuring marketing plans are aligned to sales priorities and targets, and will represent the marketing team, acting as the main point of contact for sales in your region.

 

You will work closely with the portfolio marketing team, the communications team and other parts of the marketing team to ensure consistency in global execution, while supplying local feedback and adaptations.

 

You will provide a “first line of defense” to understand the clear needs of our buyers and help identify the marketing challenge in order to provide direction and develop marketing solutions that fit those needs.

 

 

Activity

·         Understand the needs of buyers in the region, how they buy, their buying criteria and use cases in each country

·         Understand the internal sales process and culture, and build relationships with key stakeholders

·         Devise a marketing strategy aligned to the business goals, regional priorities and sales targets

·         Execute regional tactics and activities, such as field events, tradeshows, and campaigns to support demand creation and build the brand

·         Develop content to support regional marketing initiatives, including case studies, infographics, blogs, reports and whitepapers

·         Measure and analyse the impact of regional programmes, demonstrating ROI

·         Enable the sales team to sell effectively by equipping them with relevant collateral and regularly communicate campaigns and initiatives

·         Develop and manage relationships with influential industry associations, utilising their channels to support campaigns

·         Manage and accurately report on the regional marketing budget 




·         Own the lead management process, working with internal teams to ensure Eloqua and Salesforce are optimised to deliver Sales Ready Leads to sales reps and to track their progress through the funnel


 


Attributes


Strong marketing and communications skills


Excellent written English (additional language skills would be a bonus)


Ability to get full value from resources and opportunities


A team player, willing to contribute to collaborative projects and take on additional responsibilities when required


Self-motivated and able to lead projects independently


Adept at managing conflicting priorities and objectives


Able to calmly tackle problems, escalating issues as necessary to manager


Confidence in presenting and communicating internally


Experience marketing tools and systems, such as Eloqua and Salesforce


Business focused and able to maintain strong working relationships with sales and across the business


Organized, with great time management skills


Energetic, proactive, creative, collaborative, flexible, positive, unflappable
