Job Purpose:

This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, and is responsible for managing the marketing organization and support the sales organization in Asia Pacific Region (EMEA). The individual will have two direct reports initially and this may grow over time.

o   Market penetration

o   Understand the competitive landscape

o   Ensuring sales team have the right tools and  collateral to support them in customer interactions

o   Nurturing sales ready leads to maximise chance of purchase and renewal

o   Generating demand for solutions – targeting cross and up sell opportunities

o   Engaging customers and prospects in local market, prioritised by potential

o   Creating and managing a locally executable marketing and communications strategy and plan

o   Help develop a network of relevant partners and alliance relationships to jointly deliver campaigns

 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with peer groups like the Marketing Strategy team to ensure development of cohesive marketing plans
  • Document customer needs in market
  • Implement a regional/country based marketing strategy and communications plan with key themes for region
  • Local partner and alliance framework
  • Develop buyer personas localised and audience specific campaigns that are designed or bespoke for market
  • Develop and adapt for local market
  • Feed into global marketing and communications strategy region specific inputs
  • Develop and implement local content plans and communications framework
  • Develop a campaign strategy and key campaigns to execute through year/quarter aligned to strategic themes
  • Measure and report on programme/campaign metrics
  • Optimise demand process and map to identified opportunities
  • Measure and moniot campaign success criteria jointly with Product and Sales teams
  • Create localised sales collateral including whitepapers, thought leadership material
  • Coordinate project plans for campaigns with Head of Marketing Ops.

Key Skills Required:

·         Thought leadership

·         Superior verbal and written skills in English and Chinese, additional relevant languages would be a plus.

    

Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Proven years of direct marketing experience in software/solutions/information technology
  • Experience in the airline/aeropace/travel sector would be a great benefit
  • Successful launch and management of global marketing campaigns
  • Led a team of campaign and customer enagement personel
  • Marketing in the China and Japan market
