Role Outline : Lead Consultant, Enterprise Projects


Reporting to the Director of Integration Services, the post-holder is responsible for providing an excellent level of support to the Proagrica business and its customers.


The role will have oversight and technical governance of the Enterprise Projects Team.


The role will be based out of Heathrow, but travel to other Proagrica locations as required.


The post-holder:


  • Provides leadership and supervision to the projects team working on customer projects.


  • Provides point of contact with the rest of the technical delivery team, the core development team, support team and commercial team as appropriate’


  • Provides support and guidance to team members and other consultants who may work on complex projects from time to time.


  • Provides primary architecture and overall management of the requirements of the project, facilitating the delivery of these by the technical team/teams.


  • Provides a structured working and management process to ensure that work is carried out accurately and in a timely manner, focussing on agreed milestones.


  • Works with PSO Director and peers to establish standards and best practices for managing, monitoring and improving all aspects of quality service delivery.


  • Implement policies/standards to improve the quality and efficiency of services provided by the team.


  • Works with the Business and Service Desk management to set SLA criteria for the availability and performance of IT services.


  • Ensures that systems, processes and methodologies are maintained, followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of project delivery.


  • Ensures delivery of individual and team projects allocated as necessary and within aggressive delivery times.


  • Works closely with the PMO/Project Managers to ensure that work schedules align to deliverables agreed with the end customer.


  • Plan and implement upgrades needed to maintain service levels.


  • Working with the Integrations Director, manages the performance objectives and professional development of the team including the initiation, monitoring, review and validation of individual training and development plans in line with organizational and business requirements.


  • Identifies opportunities to simplify day-to-day operations through continuous improvement initiatives.


  • Identifies opportunities to motivate and build the team, and create a better collaborative environment with teams across the business.


  • Performs any other duties as may be required from time to time.
