Purpose of the role:

As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth from some of our largest public and private customers in China. You will be able to take our customers on a journey from point relationship to strategic partner as we accelerate our market-leading position in petrochemical markets in across the world.

Experience & Accountabilities 

  • You will have a proven track record at managing, retaining and growing the company’s top tier accounts as well as for maintaining accountability for both personal performance and results. 
  • You will be able to establish strong, long-term customer relationships across the organisations you will manage at all levels of the organisation. 
  • You will have the credibility to speak with CEOs and senior business managers as well as being able to maintain relationships with decision makers, stakeholders and users across several departments. 
  • You will be curious, and you will be keen to continuously learn in order to lead your customer conversations with insight. 
  • You should be able to develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and customer value whilst maintaining high volume and high-quality customer engagement through phone, email, social media and onsite visits and should be travelling to targeted clients each month.

  • Previous experience in a consultative sales position preferably license based subscriptions or data services.
