Head of Sales Process Design & Development – Accuity – London

We are looking for our next Head of Sales Process Design & Development. This newly created role will lead our process design team in a new direction as we look to transform our support offering to the sales teams, drive improvement of sales processes and ensure a frictionless user experience.

 

The successful person will champion our new process design programme, collaborating across Sales, Finance, Corporate Solutions, Marketing, Legal and beyond to ultimately support the business and improve sales user experience.

 

The successful person will have vision, have an analytical as well as strategic approach and be highly collaborative in their outlook as they work closely across the business and as leader of their team to create buy-in and demonstrate real business impact for this new business area.

 

The role includes ownership of

  • Process Review & Development
  • Sales Opportunity Support
  • Sales System Support
  • Sales System Training and Enablement
  • Identification of an ownership of ongoing process & system enhancements

Sales Operations defines and drives strategically important initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness across our sales teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across the sales organisation to prioritise design, development and critical improvements to salesforce.com
  • Lead your team through change
  • Design ongoing testing & UAT models with dedicated ownership
  • Build a collaboration network across RBI business units, and Corporate Solutions, to ensure development alignment
  • Identifying new tech, Vendor Selection and system Enhancements
  • Provide ongoing development, automation, governance, measurement and improvement of sales and revenue execution process
  • Providing analytical expertise as well as coming up with ideas for continuous improvement of sales processes and executing on them
  • Ensure smooth, effective sales processes that minimise administrative overheads for Sales Professionals
  • Analyse data to identify process areas requiring improvement and proactively implementing objectives to reach business goals
  • Supports the effective use of Salesforce.com to measure & improve sales force productivity/compliance
  • Assumes joint responsibility with sales management for process compliance

Experience required:

  • Experience of working with Salesforce.com to support sales processes
  • Demonstrable experience in end to end Project Management
  • Proven ability to build successful business cases
  • Experience in Process Management and Continuous Improvement within a technology focused organization

Desired Experience:

  • Six Sigma, Lean or other BPI certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Computer Science

  • Ability to influence peers, cross-functional teams and leadership, and rally them around a single initiative

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex, technical topics in layman’s terms
  • Strength in working at a rapid pace and within a multi-tasking environment
