Head of Marketing Operations – FlightGlobal – Portland

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Head of Marketing Operations will provide leadership and tasked to direct and oversee business services including analyses of cost and operations to determine progress toward goals and objectives. Additionally, this role will oversee marketing operations, business planning and budget development while providing efficient use of resources.
 
Responsibilities:

 

• Provides advice & consultation to the CMO using marketing performance data.
• Ensure the frameworks, processes, checkpoints and channels are in place to support the marketing objectives.
• Investigates and provides guidance and direction on the use of latest marketing technology.
• Manages technologies, partners and channels to deliver the global customer value.
• Manages Marketing operating model streams, communicates progress & blockers.
• Recommends resources and channel allocations through insight; implement testing to optimise performance.
• Ensures marketing measurement and executive reporting is impactful and drives revenue and profit growth. Focus on return on investment for each channel, geography, campaign, and overall.
• Build and manage customer satisfaction and brand perception research that deliver Portfolio & Communication objectives.
• Research, introduce and drive adoption of the latest marketing techniques and thinking to achieve scale, reach and impact.
• Leads data strategy development and infrastructure deployment, incl. technology ownership.
• Delivers effective change management and communications for technology implementation, data policy and process re-engineering within marketing.

Requirements:

 

• BA/BS or equivalent.
• Demonstrable years of experience in the area of modern Marketing.
• Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Expert in end-to-end inbound marketing, including automation, platform integration, customer data flow, and a proven track record of building one cohesive infrastructure
• Can apply lifecycle stage optimization tactics to different business needs and tech limitations.
• As owner of the marketing funnel, you must know what makes it generate customers.
• You must be analytical and able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize a team’s approach and a company’s forecast.
• Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics.
• Ideal candidate would have experience working in the travel/airline/aerospace sector.
