We have a rare opportunity for an impressive Head of Marketing to join our global marketing team for a 12-month maternity cover - responsible for delivering the regional marketing strategy for XpertHR UK in 2020. We are looking for a strong leader who can demonstrate superior team management with expertise across the marketing value chain.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Oversee and deliver the 2020 vision and strategy for the marketing function alongside managing the team(s) responsible for delivering it
Lead and line manage multiple high performers, across a portfolio of products
Communicate a clear vision that inspires and aligns others to achieve their goals, translating high level strategy into practical delivery for the team
Work across the entire value marketing chain (acquisition, engagement and retention) and ensure delivery of activities to meet and exceed KPIs
Focus on optimising marketing KPIs to support the business strategy, as well as the operational metrics. In addition, create UK targets/priorities and ensure that these are delivered
Set and reinforce a best-in-class marketing culture, embedding core competencies to drive high performance
Forecasting, scenario planning and budget management. Independently creating annual budget proposals and justification documentation to finance/marketing director
Marketing measurement & ROI. Ensure all marketing activities are monitored and measured for their effectiveness. Utilise data and insights to drive campaign improvements
Oversee delivery on the brand strategy and positioning, managing the brand and providing clear brand guidelines and tracking and measuring its performance to inform future activity
Build solid relationships with peers and work in collaboration with sales, product, content and development teams.

Skills Required:

Strong experience in all disciplines of marketing
Solid business, analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent technical and professional expertise
Exceptional communication skills
Experience of leading large / multiple high performing teams
Organisational and planning skills
Change management, drive change initiatives and encourage this in others
    
Experience Required:
A commercial approach with proven ability to deliver financial goals and targets
Proactive, results oriented and delivery focused, with the ability to balance multiple projects
Strong communicator and collaborator, with proven experience to influence and inspire at all levels
Credible with all teams that you work with, creating conditions to build confident, effective teams and inspiring your direct reports
Change management: established as an active change agent to drive marketing transformation
