Energy Account Manager – ICIS – Houston - IMMEDIATE NEED!

ICIS is seeking to recruit an account manager to join its experienced sales team in Houston; primarily responsible for managing the existing book of business of our Energy clientele.

 

This position reports to VP/Head of Sales and is responsible for maintaining and expanding business relationships with licensing our energy products. The territory and customer base is located within the United States, Canada and Mexico.


 
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:


·         Increase revenues through customer engagement and increased spend on subscriptions and services.

·         Maintain high volume customer engagement through phone, email and onsite visits (Should be travelling to targeted clients each month)

·         Create business proposals and effectively manage sales cycle and provide pipelines on a weekly basis when conducting a sales plan

·         Maximize spend using consultative and solution based sales approach.

·         Creating new revenue through the identification and implementation of cross-selling and new product initiatives.

·         Record a complete audit trail of client engagement and communication using Salesforce.com.


 

Skills and Behaviors:

 

·         Successful track record in high value, solution sales.

·         Experienced in consultative selling and key account management

·         Excellent skills in presentation

·         Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

·         People orientated, excellent listening skills

·         Able to build relationships both external and internal

·         Experienced at working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com)

·         Demonstrable understanding of sales proposition

·         Highly motivated



Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor or Associates degree preferred; or significant industry experience

2.    Demonstrable experience in a similar consultative sales position 

3.    Proficient in written and spoken English

a.    Secondary language skills of Spanish desirable
