Job Purpose:
The Director of Customer Strategy reports to the CMO.  The purpose is to lead the organization to revenue growth through a holistic understanding of the key markets, audiences and opportunities. Build a strategy around the customer view of the products and services. Work with the Product Team to ensure successful entry, development and positioning of the portfolio in target markets.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Define the global market landscape and opportunities to grow penetration
• Collaborate with Product & Sales on the go-to-market approach for the portfolio and communicate across the organization, monitor and revise as required
• Develop deep understanding of the buying audience; drive an audience centric marketing approach centred around buyers needs
• Understand the current and future portfolio of solutions and oversee the delivery of marketing activities that drives interest and sales revenues
• Define the strategy for increased penetration and share of customer spend
• Inspire, coach and manage the global strategic marketing team to deliver
• Prioritize opportunities & own the roadmap of portfolio marketing activities
• Define and deliver a digital strategy that supports customers’ and marketing goals
• Partner with product and sales leaders to deliver programs that drive customer on-boarding, up/cross-sell and retention
• Forecast, measure and analyze impact of programs on sales and customer satisfaction
• Create annual and quarterly objectives, KPIs and metrics that align with business goals and measure impact & effectiveness of marketing
• Serve as a market-facing subject matter expert (SME) for the product portfolio
• Works closely with Marketing Ops and across functional groups to explore new technology integrations that better the customer experience while exposing more of the customer journey

Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. An MBA would be a plus.
• Measurable performance and track record in taking products to a global market
• Lead a team of 8+ in a marketing function
• Demonstrable direct marketing experience in software/solutions/information technology sectors
• Experience in the airline/aerospace/travel sector would be a great benefit
