Digital Communications Intern
*Hiring for Summer 2019. Potential to start part-time this spring if student has availability*
Implement a comprehensive social media customer communications strategy, enhancing brand awareness and online reputation, and cultivating engagement through digital content. The ideal candidate plays a critical role in expanding the online presence and engagement of our Business of Law Software Solutions, in line with the LexisNexis brand platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer social media campaigns for each practice management software solution
  • Coordinate and create published content (images, video, and written)
  • Monitor and report user responses to social media campaigns
  • Develop and expand customer communication outreach efforts
  • Design and create strategic targeted Social ad campaigns
  • Manage content calendar and share with Go-To-Market Team
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to ensure social media strategies complement other marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, 
Required Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media channels and their audiences and the ability to develop targeted messages to engage them
  • Strong interpersonal skills which promote collaboration and productivity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills which effectively convey and receive messages in person as well as via phone, email, and social media
  • Must be able to establish and maintain relationships with external and internal audiences
  • Headline-writing and caption-writing skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond appropriately to time-sensitive issues. Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload
  • Experience directing and producing multimedia content
  • Experience managing social media advertising campaigns
Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
  • Preferred Majors: Communications, Marketing, Digital Media
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient with social media marketing and management tools
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Adobe Creative Suite and other design programs
