Client Data Analyst - Accuity Data Operations – East Grinstead – Maternity cover


The Department:

Our Data Operations area ensures that data in our products is comprehensive and up-to-date and we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team, based in our East Grinstead office.


Job Purpose:


The role is responsible for establishing relationships with existing and new data providers to obtain information as well as maintaining data on the financial database in line with Data standards and strategy.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

- Creating and nurturing a strong relationship with data providers is key to this role. 
- Ensure existing data is maintained accurately, in accordance with business processes and to     schedule.
- Identify, source and process missing and new data in accordance with Data strategy.
- Prioritise and manage own workload dealing with high volumes of data.
- Exchange relevant information with other internal departments to the benefit of all.


Key Skills Required:


- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to respond to customer’s data needs. 
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with data providers and / or customers.
- An additional language would be preferred, fluent in both reading and writing.
- Database skills, including the ability to work with multiple applications and business process tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Organised, the ability to manage concurrent workloads and work on own initiative 
- Customer and results focussed
- Team Player.


Experience Required:


- Proven experience of working with databases and Microsoft Office.
- Experience of dealing with data providers and/or customers.
- Experience of working as part of team to achieve common goals.
- Knowledge of the financial industry.
