Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Contract Manager to be based in London or Amsterdam to support our aviation, chemicals and agriculture businesses and you will be fulfilling the following accountabilities:
•Collaborate with the legal team and business team members, and in particular, sales and product, to draft or respond to contract proposals, support negotiation and manage contract review and approval processes.
•Closely work with legal business partner and assist in negotiating the terms of standard commercial agreements (including data licensing, master services, non-disclosures, evaluation agreements) with existing and prospective customers, vendors and partners.
•Work with commercial teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the products, services and the documentation requirements to draft and review contracts.
•Consult where necessary with legal, sales, product, customer and business leadership to manage negotiation responses, contract approvals and related matters.
•Create and maintain storage of executed contract and agreements.
•Create and maintain the management and storage of contract templates and agreements.
•Outline and drive standardisation in key negotiation clauses to provide approved “library” of legal and business responses for frequently negotiated points.
•Manage and provide quality   inputs into the Contract Lifecycle Management tool.
•Manage the Contract Management Strategy involving stakeholder engagement, commercial and contract strategy development, business and strategic objectives.
•Lead on contract negotiations and strategy including managing risks outside the baseline and managing the obligations to our customers.
•Managing contract data points and tracking baseline standards against exceptions as well as seeking opportunities in the data.
•Manage and implement process efficiencies and define solutions for operational effectiveness of legal processes.
•Focus on the minimisation of contract cycle times.
The role will report into the Director of Contract Management.


•A Bachelor’s degree in law or other related field from an accredited college is required.
 •Previous professional experience in contract management specifically in Licencing and Software drafting and negotiation, this experience is essential.
•Native German is desired but not essential
•Experience working in a sales environment and salesforce is desirable
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
•Ability to quickly grasp complex commercial and legal details and business and product understanding.
•Strong negotiation skills.
•Experience of working in a global environment, preferably in or with a matrixed multi-national organisation.
•A collaborative attitude, building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
•A genuine interest in new technologies and innovation.
•Able to drive projects to a conclusion.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills. 
•Good decision-making ability.
•Ability to communicate and interact effectively with business unit corporate staff and all external contacts.
•Strong integrity and business ethics.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines, resilient and calm under pressure
•International and cross border experience would be a plus.
•Excellent communication skills to navigate a complex multinational organization with multiple stakeholder groups.
