The Role

As a Change Analyst, you will work closely with key stakeholders in the business to bring their needs to life, using analysis to seek solutions to business problems. But it does not stop there, you’ll get the opportunity to engage directly in the delivery of those solutions, it really is end to end.  We have an extensive pipeline to deliver on in 2018/19 and the person taking on this role can expect to work on a wide variety of initiatives.

Collaborating with key business leads, you will focus on the people involved in any upcoming changes, maximizing employee engagement and the adoption of new business processes or technologies.  Key change activities include the creation of change impact assessments, management of stakeholder interactions and engagement, planning and driving key communications, training planning and readiness assessments.

 

Key Results Areas (KRAs)

 

1. Change Analysis

 

·         Development and implementation of the change management strategy based on situational awareness and analysis of the details of the change and the change impacts of the groups involved

·         Apply structured change management approach and methodologies, executing change assessments to identify requirements across Communication, Training, Sponsorship and Support. Evaluate results and present findings in a logical and usable manner

·         Identify people-impacting risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns

·         Support other work streams in integrating change management activities into their project plans

·         Work closely with business process owners to respond to changes in requirements or process design

·         Conduct readiness assessment, evaluating results and present findings in an easy-to-understand and accessible manner

 

 

2. Stakeholder Management

 

·         Liaise with stakeholders and impacted parties across multiple business areas to manage change implementation

·         Lead efforts to generate awareness, buy-in and adoption among impacted business areas, such that business goals are achieved

·         Maximise employee engagement to avoid risk of resistance

·         Coordinate business activities and engagement across Communication, Training, Sponsorship, Support and User Testing

·         Be an active and visible coach to business change network

·         Establish a feedback mechanism with stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of change management efforts

 

 

3. On-going Optimisation

 

·         Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions

·         Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success

·         Communicate risks and issues to the project/program manager and contribute to weekly status report

 

 

Selection Criteria

 

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

Essential

 

·         Proven Change Management experience in leading technical and complex change

·         Thorough approach to planning and time management, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision

·         Strong communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills, with an ability to manage relationships up to senior levels of management

·         Demonstrates a 'can do' mentality and is capable of working successfully in a complex environment when faced with competing demands and creativity to contribute to ideas

·         Have strong stakeholder management abilities and passionate about delivering exceptional results

·         Be a team player, with good team interaction and interpersonal skills, working towards a shared vision for the future.

·         Energy, enthusiasm and the desire to make a difference

·         Comfortable using a variety of office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Desirable

   

  • APMG Change Management Foundation & Practitioner or equivalent qualification
  • Facilitation and presentation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business systems and processes covering the full end to end lifecycle of Lead to Cash
