Account Manager – Entry Level - Evanston, IL

Accuity Account Managers receive training to ensure they have all the business development skills and product knowledge they require to be successful in this high energy sales industry. We are seeking candidates that are outgoing, personable, and comfortable speaking to customers while working in a competitive sales environment.


Account Manager Key Job Aspects

At Accuity, the Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the sale of products and services from beginning to end:

Ø  Acquires new accounts and retains existing accounts

Ø  Performs demos of Accuity online solutions to prospective customers

Ø  Maintains thorough knowledge of current solutions, campaigns, and promotions

Ø  Prospects for new business through team-wide calling campaigns as well as social media initiatives

Ø  Cooperates with other account managers during regular innovation sessions

Ø  Prepares monthly pipeline reports and maintains documentation of customer contact and account updates

Ø  Participates in weekly and monthly team meetings, involving presentation of individual progress and interaction with senior level staff

Ø  Gives feedback to and receives feedback from colleagues and managers to foster personal and team growth


Account Manager Qualifications

Ø  Bachelor’s degree (ideal but not required)

Ø  0-1+ years of sales experience

Ø  Customer service and interpersonal skills

Ø  Comfortable working in a collaborative environment

Ø  Ability to learn quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Ø  Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Ø  Knowledge of social media platforms

Ø  Strong presentation and listening abilities

Ø  Prospecting skills and positive persistent personality

Ø  Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums


Ø  Motivation, initiative, and a positive attitude a big plus!
