Account Manager - EG – London

 

Summary EG has delivered intelligence to the commercial property world since 1858. In the past decade the prestigious property brand has developed rapidly into a large portfolio of services with its data, online, and face to face services delivering essential data and news to a fast-paced market.

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing the commercial relationships with an assigned set of commercial property agent customers. The AM is expected to maintain strong positive professional relationships with those customers, leading to high renewal rates and attractive revenue growth, and active participation in the contributory nature of the Radius platform.

 

Responsibilities

The AM is the lead contact for all our agency customers. The AM will offer regular contact and support to agencies and will provide sound feedback to EG as to the viability and potential value of the customer relationship.

 

Specifically, the AM will do the following:

- Contact new customers to welcome them to EG and orient them to the services they have purchased - Collaborate with the Customer Success team to provide end-user training and needed support for the agency to contribute data as per the Radius contributor contract

 - Create and own strategic account plans for Radius customers to optimize their value to EG - Provide candid and well-documented status information to EG leadership on the AM’s customers’ engagement levels and likelihood to renew

- Contact assigned customers for regular business reviews, as per EG expectations, to discuss their use of Radius and to discover how EG can provide more value

- Identify, pursue, and achieve renewals, additional sales, and price increases from managed customers, meeting or exceeding monthly retention and sales targets

- Provide regular reports to agency customers regarding their data contribution activity and performance relative to Radius contract obligations and reinforcing these requirements as needed - Provide EG management accurate long- and short-range forecasts of customer renewals

- Provide EG management with constructive customer feedback to assist in product enhancements, marketing, and data strategies


Minimum requirements

- Demonstrable client management experience in B2B information services, software, or related fields

- Strong networking skills and ability to self-start and network within a client base

- Ability to travel up to 25% within the UK as required by clients and the business Strong presentation skills 

- Strong negotiation and influencing skills Desirable skills 

- Knowledge of the commercial property market - Formalised value-based sales training 

- Salesforce.com experience and wider sales reporting experience
