The Senior Technical Product Manager I will own a Saas online product or one or more product features within a complex product. Will be responsible for developing a commercially successful product strategy and lead project execution with minimal guidance that is based on qualitative and quantitative customer understanding. Will develop strong technology relationships looking for ways to address customer needs and will be seen as a critical stakeholder for feedback on new feature ideas. Will informally coach and mentor.

 

ThreatMetrix is a leading fraud prevention and second factor authentication platform and produces the industry first digital identity.  It is used by over 4000 customers from that are global banks, social media, travel and ecommerce screening over 4000 events per seconds.  ThreatMetrix has been acquired by Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions in 2018.

 

Duties

  • Will define new innovative interfaces to improve how real time decision infrastructure are made by the customer. 
  • Be the voice of Engineering to ensure that infrastructure projects are prioritized.
  • Contribute to defining and executing a platform strategy that positions ThreatMetrix to be the decisioning platform for a broad set of LexisNexis Risk Solution capabilities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Success in working in cross functional environment with teams that are across several locations.
  • Initiative, team work and cross functional leadership without authority.
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and writing.
  • Experience in product life cycle management.
  • Experience in delivery of B2B enterprise SaaS with an emphasis on high performance, high availability systems.

 

Job Requirements:

Customer Focus

Represents the voice of the customer in the product enhancement workflow diagram discussions in the SDLC product development life cycle meetings. Gathers requirements, writes requirements and documents user stories for online data reporting needs to exceed customer data product expectations. Maintains awareness of competitive market conditions. Stays up to date on news and incidents to ensure customer data products are up to date. Familiar with customer data frameworks, web accessible data reporting requirements, regulations and business processes. Sets realistic timelines and delivers customer commitments in a timely manner. Software


Technical Skills

Sr Technical Product Management, real time decision infrastructure. Understands the company and customer technology stack at a high level. Understands or familiar with the relevant technology architecture. Ability to engage and build rapport with developers strongly preferred. Ability to understand technology constraints and manage realistic milestones to meet the needs for multiple cross functional teams.

Experience and Education

Minimum Years of Data Product Management Experience: 6-8 years, Experience as a software engineer in will be taken into account.

 

Critical Experiences:

1.               Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities simultaneously.

2.               Demonstrated the ability to work with others to modify, enhance or maintain a data product and identify technology challenges.

3.               Demonstrated readiness to engage in work under minimal supervision.

 

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical subject (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essential.
