Significant contributor in the development of negotiation strategies with front-line internal stakeholders (e.g. Client Engagement, Product Management, Vertical and Legal). Applies specialized expertise in functional discipline (including contacting principles, laws, and regulations governing data protection and security) with a broader perspective and understanding of business risks (profit and loss implications) to achieve business objectives and solve complex contractual issues. Guides and instructs junior level personnel in all aspects of the contract life-cycle management, including negotiation strategy development, understanding strategic customer information, contract drafting and development, and customer negotiations. Takes an active role in identifying and resolving policy and process gaps and communicating improvements across cross-functional organizations. Demonstrates a high degree of independence and creative judgment. 

1. Contract Drafting/Negotiation: Significant contributor in the development of negotiation strategies with the front-line stakeholders in support of strategic customers. Applies independent judgment and understanding of business risk (profit and loss implications) to draft customized and non-standard provisions, agreements, and amendments and leads customer negotiations to successful conclusion. Communicates and provides guidance to junior level personnel regarding customer requirements, corporate and business unit policies and procedure, business risk, and federal and state laws and regulations governing data protection and security in order to resolve complex contractual problems. Mentors, guides, and leads junior level personnel in all aspects of the contract life-cycle management, including negotiation strategy development, understanding strategic customer information, contract development, and negotiation. Works independently, with guidance from business leaders and/or legal only in the most complex situations. 
2. Contract Strategy: Significant contributor in the development of negotiation strategies for new business pursuits applying an in-depth understanding of the customer's expectations, the business case, and an appreciation of the business risks (profit and loss implications) to resolve complex contractual issues. Provides authoritative guidance and recommendations to internal business teams on business unit goals and objectives relating to contract activity. 
 3. Leadership/ Change Management Scope: Guides and directs junior level roles in all aspects of the contract life-cycle management, including negotiation strategy development, understanding strategic customer information, contract development, and customer negotiations. Pro-actively champions contract policy and procedure revision and improvement. 
 4. Proposal Administration: Provides leadership and makes recommendations to cross-functional business team members for the preparation and response to Requests for Proposal, Request for Information, and Sales Proposals. Assists internal resources to ensure timely and high-quality responses. 
 5. Contract Administration: Ensures contract review, approval and execution occurs in accordance with corporate and business unit guidelines. Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance. Conducts research to support contract audit and or facilitate business unit contracting trends. Performs contract closeout activities. 

Demonstrates advanced knowledge and understanding of core business objectives and can apply knowledge throughout the contract management life-cycle. Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices; recommends process, product or service improvements. Takes a broad perspective to pro-actively identify and solves complex problems. Is a change ambassador within the organization, who is able to think about the future vs what is happening today. Leads functional teams or projects and is able to inspire and motivate others on the team. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. Performs Functional and Leadership Competencies at an Advanced Level.  

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Juris Doctorate 
6-8 years of contract management experience in related field 8 years of business experience preferred 
Ability to mentor junior level roles 
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Strong negotiation skills
