MLex is a truly global business that serves customers in North America, Continental Europe, the UK, Asia and Latin America.  The MLex organisation operates out of various offices around the world including London, Brussels, Washington D.C., Hong Kong, San Francisco and Sao Paolo. 

 

The role will be based at Lexis House, 30 Farringdon Street, London.

 

Purpose of the role:

MLex implemented Salesforce.com in May 2018 across a global sales organisation.  The system now manages our end-to-end pipeline to fulfilment process.  Salesforce CPQ will be implemented during 2019.  We are now looking to appoint our first CRM Manager/Developer.

 

As CRM Manager you will be responsible for:

 

System Maintenance & Development:

  • Leading the ongoing development of our salesforce.com deployment, where possible completing the work directly and bringing in external resources if necessary.

  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.

  • Work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes.

  • Maintenance of 3rd party applications and custom coding to keep the environment at optimal performance.

  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations.

  • Manage system changes without interruption and communicate changes to the users in advance so they are aware of the new features.

  • Partner with the Product team to understand development impacts on MLex.com product, support new product launches and ensure end-to-end process compatibility.

Administration:

  • Executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

  • Administration and support of Salesforce including but not limited to user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, customisation of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations and other routine tasks.

  • Act as the guardian of sales information in Salesforce (CRM), ensuring consistency of input from the sales teams and validity of data at all times.

  • Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels

  • Reassign Accounts, Contacts, Cases and Opportunities etc. in response to personnel changes

Business Support:

  • Define and implement efficient business processes which impact the CRM and other systems such as Pardot
  • Build effective relationships across the business and managing ongoing support requests and the administrative needs of users.
  • Provide support through training and knowledge management and acting as a point of contact for end-user support.
  • Management Reporting –produce accurate and insightful reports, dashboards and processes to continuously monitor performance as requested by stakeholders and senior management.

Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a Salesforce.com administrator and/or developer essential

  • Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified; Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred

  • Experience of Pardot preferred

  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.

  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements and technical issues / solutions to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels of the business.

  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to review and manipulate large volumes of data to reach sound conclusions.  Good attention to detail.

  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

  • The versatility to work on several projects at once and prioritise their own time.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
