Job Description

The Director of Marketing, Business Services will join a dynamic, high performing marketing team supporting a high growth advanced analytics and data technology business.  This role will be responsible for developing fully integrated and innovative marketing programs to drive awareness, create demand and foster customer retention. This position will manage and support a team of marketers that will execute marketing activities including demand generation strategies and plans, new product go-to-market activities, trade show/event experiences and content development including marketing communications such as PR and analyst relations to achieve revenue and profit targets for assigned solutions.

The position reports to the Sr. Marketing Director for the Business Services division and will support our Financial Crime and Compliance (FCC) solutions.  The role is based in Alpharetta, GA. 


  • Develop fully integrated strategic marketing plans with objectives around awareness, demand generation and retention

  • Manage and support a team that executes marketing deliverables and tactics such as direct mail, digital advertising, paid search, email, events, social, media relations, analyst briefings, webinars, etc.

  • Create annual content calendar to deliver high impact messaging and thought leadership content such as eBooks, infographics, whitepapers, industry research studies, website content, social posts, blogs, video, print, public relations, etc.

  • Direct coordination of events (tradeshows, user conferences, customer meetings and webinars) to deliver innovative and memorable experiences

  • Develop marketing materials and coordinate promotion activities through internal stakeholders, agencies and vendors

  • Navigate matrixed environment to successfully collaborate with various cross functional teams across the organization including sales, market planning, strategy, product, other marketers in business services, corporate marketing, corporate communications and marketing operations

  • Work with various stakeholders for new product go-to-market product launches including development of communications, materials and promotions

  • Partner with sales to deliver impactful marketing programs to support new customer acquisition and installed-based initiatives such as retention and cross-sell/upsell initiatives

  • Leverage segmentation to drive marketing plan development

  • Collaborate with other marketing groups to optimize activities by leveraging ideas across multiple verticals and audiences

  • Manage marketing budget and work with the analytics team to track, analyze and report marketing results per initiative

  • Manage team of marketers to achieve goals

  • Other duties as assigned such as strategic input/planning, marketing deliverables for acquisition integration and product migrations when applicable


  • 4-year college degree preferably in Marketing or Business, MBA preferred

  • A minimum of 10 years in marketing experience required, B2B marketing or technology fields preferred

  • Marketing experience in the banking/financial services industry (or similar) and/or financial crime and compliance marketplace (e.g. anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, economic sanctions, etc) preferred

  • Strong acumen in strategic planning and executing integrated marketing programs, campaigns and tactics for demand generation and retention

  • Experience using of marketing automation tools and CRM

  • Strong competency in project management and organization with ability to lead multiple projects/deadlines

  • Proficient with content development and management

  • Proven ability to uncover insights and optimize programs to meet goals using analytics

  • Experience with digital and direct response marketing programs

  • Agency and vendor management experience, including creative oversight and contract negotiations

  • Skilled at working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and partners

  • Highly influential communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter and passionate with strong bias towards driving results

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Critical thinker and problem solver

  • Ability to travel as necessary

  • Budgeting responsibility
