Director, Process Transformation

In this role, you will have a deep passion for and experience in working with our business partners to understand their business drivers and develop an automation strategy driven by process transformation to meet their needs. Process transformation will deliver process re-engineering and enable Robotic Process Automation and Intelligent Automation to meet growing business and customer needs while optimizing productivity and improving quality. The role will take a holistic view of automation across the value chains and help design and deliver automation platforms that can scale at global level. Additionally, you will need to have demonstrated ability to break down complex divisional processes, facilitate Lean workshops to understand and analyze, lead and develop others and to persuade key stakeholders. You will be outcome-driven and a motivated person who clearly translates vision, strategy, and business objectives into compelling plans enabling and driving effective implementation. You will partner with technology and business partners to perform Target Operating Model / Solution Identification / Scoping. The critical success measures of this role would be demonstrated in 3 areas: a. Establishing a repeatable methodology for delivering process transformation driven by automation b. Designing and delivering automation solutions and platforms that can scale at global level c. Meeting key measures of success: Influenced Revenue, cost savings, NPS, turnaround time, and Quality improvement. 


1. Liaise/collaborate with various business leaders (Commercial, Ed Ops, GTO, Finance, HR) and users to understand their strategy, pain points and opportunities and develop a process transformation automation strategy to meet their needs and deliver targeted business outcomes

2. Lead cross-functional team(s) through a lean discovery process to identify and assess the feasibility of ideas to deliver business outcomes to drive value creation and improved business results. 

3. Manage a pipeline of opportunities, prioritizing initiatives and making trade-offs based on business impact. 

4. Identify and prioritise process transformation opportunities and facilitation of events to maximize efficiencies and leverage synergies across the organization. 

5. Manage a discovery pipeline to assess the value and feasibility of ideas and prioritize them making trade-offs based on business impact

6. Manage a discovery pipeline to create and deliver experiments to assess the feasibility of ideas for delivery

7. Manage a delivery pipeline that takes successful experiments into production to deliver targeted business outcomes

8. Develop and implement processes to measure and monitor value capture.

9. Guide business leads, process owners and cross-functional teams through problem solving and process transformation tools and processes to attain short-term results as well as build capability of the team, thus expanding the ability to positively impact performance and growth throughout the enterprise. 

10. Utilize Lean Enterprise and Agile engineering principles, scientific methods, and systems knowledge to develop solutions that create new business opportunities and solve existing business needs. 

11. Monitors and drives implementation and impact of identified resolutions, coaching and supporting process owner(s) and team(s) as needed. 

12. Shares best practices across functions/divisions, develops and maintains tools, templates, job aides, and other documentation in a central repository so that colleagues throughout the enterprise have easy access to process transformation resources.


1. MBA or Master's degree in Business Management, Operations Leadership, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or combination of Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience.

2.10+ years Experience in Business Process Improvement, Process consulting, Operational excellence, Value Stream Mapping areas.

3. Experience in successful application of productivity and continuous process improvement with methodologies 

4. Exceptional leadership, analytical skills, and ability to translate data into recommendation provided to organization executives.

5. Analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency with process transformation tools and methodologies. 

6. Lean enterprise and agile skills understanding and experience

7. Ability to drive strategic thinking and continuous improvement in both operational and non-operational operational areas, including connecting the cross-functional resources to remove waste along the extended value streams 

8. Proven track record for developing, training, and coaching teams 

9. Executive presence - Excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal savvy and team-building skills, technical competence and managerial courage. 

10. Broad knowledge of multi-functional, multi-site, global organizational processes and financial business methods

11. Ability to quickly establish effective and diverse trust-based relationships with various stakeholders throughout the organization. 

12. Experience and comfort working in a dynamic environment with agile teams, where not all requirements are defined initially.

13. Expected travel - 30%
