The Digital and Social Media Specialist will develop and implement a comprehensive, integrated social media plan to support the LNLP recruiting activities mainly in North America but provide support in other regions as needed. This social media pro will work closely with the Talent Acquisition CoE to align on brand strategies and marketing objectives to social channels. The ideal candidate combines the ability to provide thought leadership on social trends and tools, data-driven analysis of programs, develop creative and engaging social media strategies and campaigns, and detail-oriented oversight of implementation as it relates to recruiting.

Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, the Digital and Social Media Specialist will join a global TA team and co-develop and leverage forward-thinking narrative with attracting talent for LNLP.

Critical to the role will be the ability to create, develop and execute social media programs collaboratively across Communications, TA CoE and recruiting delivery teams.

The successful candidate will thrive in our fast-paced environment with the ability to work seamlessly across all stakeholder groups. Role requires strong strategic planning, messaging, marketing, and recruiting social media skills. This candidate must have an in-depth understanding of the world of social media and experience with social platform community management. This individual will keep their finger on the pulse of happenings at LexisNexis, organize a strategic calendar around those moments, develop conference and events strategy, measure ROI and leverage overall EB content to attract talent.


Accountabilities:
Develop & manage social media content calendar, aligning with Communication and TA CoE.

Develop social media plans to support events, conferences, initiatives, relevant to recruiting talent for LexisNexis

Attend live events and manage social media presence from the events when necessary

Oversee monitoring, moderating and analysis of all social media channels

Identify priority social media metrics and track performance on an ongoing basis

Identify emerging trends in the social media space and raise those opportunities to TA CoE to harness those trends in support of LexisNexis’ social presence to recruit talent

Guide and develop recruiter engagements via social platforms - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn profile set up

Works with Communications and TA CoE to ensure external posts are being written to cover active recruiting needs

Conduct training for recruiters on social media, events, conferences as needed

Recommend by skill, location, business line the local events, conferences (both digital & FTF) and execute E2E execution, coordination thru measuring of ROI

Effectively project manage all event activities, including logistics, creative development, budget, staffing plan, etc.

Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors and associations to ensure seamless event execution

Develop and maintain events calendar, timeline and budgets to ensure effective events execution

Regularly communicate event plan, status, responsibilities, etc. with cross-functional team members

Evaluate event execution and request feedback from cross-functional team, reporting overall results and recommendations to greater team and brand managers

Travel to and support onsite execution and coordination of key events, including set up and tear down when needed



Qualifications:


1.  3+ years of experience in managing recruiting social media presence.  at least 2 years experience with managing and fulfilling social media campaigns; experience setting up optimized social media accounts specific to recruiting talent from campus thru experienced professional roles; ability to work well across departments to get things done; experience with training in a work environment, strong communication skills.


2. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing


3.  Experience in managing recruiting social media, channels and events strategy. Basic skillset using Adobe Photoshop or InDesign or equivalent.


4.  Understanding of social media landscape, best practices, and platforms including platform features, management, metrics, content requirements, and trends


5.  Outstanding written and presentation skills, including PowerPoint presentation development, editing and proof reading


8.  Strong skills and prior experience leading, coordinating and participating in recruiting events, large conferences


9.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.


10.  Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.


11.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.


12.  Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills.
