Demonstrates a conceptual understanding of the procurement of records for insurance purposes. Applies this understanding in the performance of routine and recurring assignments such as reviewing, compiling, acquiring, organizing, and maintaining records. 

Job entails calling police and fire agencies to inquire about reports that are being requested by CRU for Insurance clients.  In most cases, the Insurance client will be updated on their request status.


  • Performs routine and recurring assignments such as compiling, and reviewing records. 
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and a heightened sense of urgency in obtaining these records. 
  • Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
    • public acquisition of records from one or more sources, 
    • order maintenance
    • processing
    • internal client database
    • maintain internal database
    • updating requests
    • terminating requests
    • research of records by utilizing lookups, internet or map programs
    • may also perform outgoing calls and monitor call queues 
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma; Preferred Education: Some College in related field 
  • Required: Able to meet production metrics 
  • Required Typing: 40 WPM Preferred Typing: 65+ WPM 
  • 1-2 years professional work experience; experience in criminal justice, insurance claims, call center and/or police departments a plus.
  • Highly organized and works well in team environment
