In this role you implement on the global product direction for Location Based Risk Solutions, including MapView.  You serve as the geospatial category - and product expert.  Identify and develop opportunities with customers in the assigned markets.  Provide expert insights and best practices to customers/prospects and execute on the companies' thought leadership strategy.  Maintain pulse of the market while accomplishing and supporting market planning goals.

Primary Accountabilities:
  • Strategic execution; support the business in implementing market strategy and programs to maximize location-based risk revenue and long-term product trust and brand awareness of developing market area.
  • Education:  Directly to customers and indirectly through the sales organization, speaking engagements and execution of the thought leadership strategy.
  • Act as a conduit for new ideas/opportunities to be evaluated and proposed for implementation.
  • Be the voice of the market when relating and participating in product planning sessions.
  • Maintain a current understanding of competitor offerings (i.e., price, product, service, or solution) so that you can effectively address the advantages over that offered by its competitors.
  • Work with sales leaders to establish and maintain senior level contacts at top customers.  Prepare senior level presentations, ROI templates and implementation plans for customers.
  • Obtain changes in customers' requirements through direct and indirect customer research.  Communicate changes to product development.
  • Evaluate strategic customer offerings and determine appropriate customer targeting.  Manage and directly support the function to respond to customer RFPs and RFIs.  Lead the development of responses to major strategic opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned needed to move opportunities along in your territory.

  • BA/BS minimum; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Home Insurance underwriting/product management
  • Experience leading and working with customer teams - preferably focused on innovation and/or new product development.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and preferably multi language skills (eg. Spanish, Portuguese, French, German)
  • Ability to achieve and maintain positive rapport with diverse customers and co-workers in different countries, languages and time zones to give them high quality, responsive service.
  • Strong analytic competencies and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage changing and multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with presentation software (PowerPoint/Prezi), process and planning software (Visio, MS Project, Excel) in a business environment.
  • Ability to work independently while keeping management appropriately informed.
  • The role may require travel.  It is highly recommended that the individual works in close relationship with the product development team in Dublin, Ireland.
