Sponsorship Sales Executive – FlightGlobal – London - 6 month FTC 

Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Sponsorship Sales Executive to work on one of RBI’s flagship brands – FlightGlobal. The key focus of the role is developing new business and growing accounts across the globe. The role reports directly into the Head of Conference Sales and you will be responsible for year on year sponsorship revenue growth across your client base & event portfolio. 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Responsible for delivering year on year sponsorship revenue growth in line with targets & KPI’s
Maximise cross-sales across client base for all relevant events
Research, identify and build pipelines of qualified leads to develop new business
Develop strong relationships and grow revenues with existing customers 
Build and demonstrate effective sales pitches for existing and new events
Develop healthy sales pipelines and demonstrate regular movement through the sales pipeline 
Understand customer’s business objectives and identify sponsorship and exhibition solutions that deliver on those objectives
Create solutions to close any predicted revenue shortfalls
Work with the wider conferences team to deliver on customers’ objectives
Meet weekly with the Head of Conference Sales to update on progress and discuss and agree a plan of action for challenges

Key Skills Required
Demonstrable experience in B2B sales 
Strong track record of being able to sell effectively through telephone sales & face to face meetings 
Proven experience of working to and achieving revenue targets
A keen appetite to proactively chase and win new business
Able to discuss business issues at a senior level
Have a solution-orientated approach to resolving issues/challenges
Able to quickly develop knowledge of new markets & conference topic issues 
Flexible, able to work across multiple projects and perform under pressure
Excellent communication & organisational skills
Strong negotiation skills
Results focused
Must thrive in a vibrant, fast moving environment
Team player committed to supporting the team goals in addition to working on own initiative
A positive and energetic attitude

Experience Required:

- Previous experience in exhibition and/or sponsorship sales, ideally in an events business
- Proven track record in delivering and exceeding sales targets
- Proven ability to generate new business as well as manage existing accounts
- Ability to develop creative sponsorship solutions
