Senior Marketing Executive - ICIS - China

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join the our strong global ICIS marketing team, where you will be responsible for managing and carrying out integrated go-to-market campaigns in China. If contributing in a strategic marketing experience, embedded with sound creative judgement and audience / customer-focus excites you, then this job is for you. 

Additionally, you will lead stakeholder engagement and management across the entire lifecycle of the campaigns with cross-functional teams.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and track multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns across various marketing channels (email, website, Baidu, social media, events etc.)
  • Inform, connect and inspire audiences with a story telling approach to create compelling messaging and narratives, leveraging data and building credibility for the brand
  • Develop content for data-driven digital communications strategy, measuring impact and attracting, acquiring and nurturing potential customers for sales
  • WeChat – manage and execute end-to-end WeChat digital activities in coordination with the wider ICIS team to populate and publish content and fully optimize usage of the channel
  • Events management (strategy, promotions and logistics) – pre, onsite and post event support, coordination and execution for both external participation and own hosted ICIS events
  • Lead on local PR and media relations, as well as partnerships
  • Work with global brand and communications team to align China initiatives against overall ICIS branding guidelines, establish the voice of the brand across multi-channel touchpoints
  • Ensure marketing implementation by working with the wide range of marketing operations team for timely and efficient execution of tactical activities highlighted in the marketing campaigns
  • Actively identify the most effective, scalable approach for go to market in order to embed relevant messaging against the customer buying cycle 
  • Juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Travel occasionally to support events organization
  • Ability to work with multiple locations across times zones, requiring flexible working hours to accommodate conference calls at least once a week

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • B2B marketing experience (direct hands on experience, managing and carrying out marketing campaigns) and is able to consider all elements of the marketing mix and execute key communications – ensuring they deliver the right message, in the right tone at the right channel
  • Creation of strategic marketing plans, including effective communications approach and mix of marketing channels
  • Intensive knowledge and experience with WeChat marketing and Baidu
  • Events management and coordination experience
  • Proven working experience working to support the overall branding communications and ensure this reflects in all marketing activities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications, including copywriting skills in both Chinese and English
  • Project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work around deadlines
  • Knowledge on customer buying cycle and strategies and activities against each stage of the buying cycle
  • Reporting and tracking of marketing ROI and KPIs
  • Experience of stakeholder management across different departments and geographies to gain acceptance for plans and budgets
