The role of Senior Market Planning Manager is a multidisciplinary role with two primary focuses: ensuring our strategic customers are benefiting from the full value of the ThreatMetrix solution and recent LexisNexis service integrations, and facilitating the successful market launch, communication and strategic customer adoption of new features and solution capabilities.
The team manages both internal and external market planning communications to ensure a clear and effective understanding of our solution, ensuring it reflects the competitive landscape and helps maintain our position as market-leader and innovator in Digital Identity and Fraud.
Helping to define the Competitive Landscape, the successful candidate will support the ongoing of the Positioning / Buying Process.  Demonstrating active collaboration with the Product Management and Marketing teams the successful candidate will help drive market requirements, sales enablement, market strategy, product vision and successful product adoption.
Additionally, bringing the success of our product to life in customer case studies, success stories and internal presentations is key. ThreatMetrix Market Planning Managers are natural storytellers, teasing out key information and having the ability to build profitable relationships with customers in order to effectively communicate successful product implementations.
The Marketing Planning team is the sales teams’ closest ally; organizing content into usable and accessible categories and extending the breadth and depth of messaging to complement every stage of the sales cycle. This begins with clear and concise go-to-market strategy and training, product documentation, refresher sessions, regular product communication, and extends through to supporting existing customers with industry insights, cybercrime statistics and knowledge of new product features and integrated third party services.
Building mutually beneficial relationships with the analyst community is also key. The successful candidate will take an active role in meeting regularly with a number of analyst companies to brief them on new product developments and innovations, as well as conducting industry-specific enquiry calls to gain a most holistic understanding of the rapidly evolving marketplace.
They will also support the wider marketing team on lead generation with webinar presentations, contribute to Digital Identity events, whether with content or presentations and assist in conferences, event and campaign management.
The ideal candidate will have significant and proven relevant experience working in a Product / Market Planning / business planning role, with a good blend of technical and business acumen, impeccable writing and communications skills, ideally with a background in fraud and risk.

A summary of key roles and responsibilities is as follows:

Market Landscape and Planning

• Cybercrime Report (Quarterly, Regional, Industry), industry-specific statistics
• Industry research, whitepapers and blogs
• Analyst engagement (participation in briefings and enquiries, upcoming research, write-ups, events, sponsorship and co-authored papers)
• Webinars and speaking engagements
• Summit presentation support and customer engagement

Market Planning Strategy

• Review and input into the product development lifecycle
• Review and evaluate market area performance on a continuing basis, establishing a structured performance measurement methodology and documentation approach
• Support the analysis of specific near-term market opportunities, the development of business cases, pricing, and product and sales focused supporting material
• Support key relationships with key account, vendors, trade associations and customers
• Actively contribute to, and ensure that, positioning of the combined LNRS / TMX solution accurately reflects the Buyer market
• Review competitors within the wider market landscape, documenting analysis and on the respective strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and industry trends
• Develop new and updated product related content for internal and external use

Sales Enablement and Go-to-market

• Support the development of market strategies, demonstrating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (finance, product development, editorial, marketing, sales)
• Customer case studies, product success stories, ThreatMetrix in Action meetings
• GTM support for new product releases, sales training, press release support, product FAQs and product newsletters
• Regularly updating product decks and company overview decks to reflect new product features and solution development
• Support product roadmap development and management
• Platform, product and industry-specific solution briefs
• Partner Quarterly newsletter
• Industry and vertical specific assets
• Competitor intelligence, management and distribution to Sales Team
• Regular sales meetings for product support, collateral information and Q&A
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, equally comfortable presenting an industry webinar, an external presentation on the Cybercrime Report, or writing a product-related whitepaper
