Some of the key attributes that we are looking for in the ideal candidate are

(1) A Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline including, but not limited to; climate science and policy, agronomy, biogeochemistry, socio-economics, sustainable development, urban science, and biodiversity and conservation.

(2) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
(3) Broad scientific interest in science and publishing
(4) Critical thinking and the willingness to learn and absorb new areas of research
(5) The ability to successfully work independently and in diverse teams

This is a full-time in-house editorial position. Cell Press offers an attractive salary and benefits package and a stimulating working environment. Applications will be held in the strictest confidence and will be considered on a rolling basis until filled.

This is a full-time editorial position.  Our preference is for a candidate based at the Cell Press headquarter in Cambridge, MA.  However, we are also open to candidates who would be located in our London or Beijing office.
