Sales Manager - Accuity - Evanston, IL

 

Responsible for the selling activities, managing and developing a junior sales team to sell Accuity integrated risk and payment product lines, and build superior relationships with customers to achieve desired sales revenue goals. Must have ability to sell high-end, enterprise payment and risk solutions.

 

Functions:

 

·         Develop and execute a sales plan and strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term financial and client relationship goals.

·         Achieve/Exceed sales revenue on individual and team targets.

·         Manage a team of accounts managers/sales professionals and support in the performance review process for that team.

·         Work in Partnership with Sales Enablement Director in the development of new starters.

·         Penetrate all levels/departments of financial institutions and corporates through selling and relationship building.

·         Identify potential target markets and accounts and develop go-to market strategies.

·         Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on all leads generated by marketing campaigns/other sources.

·         Conduct continued sales training on sales best practices; all products; and business system.

·         Recruit, train and develop/coach/mentor new account managers.

·         Continue to develop, enhance and support strategic and relationship selling “best practices” with sales team.

·         Communicate/Work with Director of Sales & Sales Enablement Director on market trends/learnings/product enhancement training and developing new opportunities.

·         Work effectively and efficiently with other internal stakeholder groups including other Accuity sales teams, marketing, product management, technical support, client support, legal/contract administration, sales support, etc.

·         Manage pipeline reports and review pipeline activity to ensure that sales targets and expectations are being met by the group and each individual sales representative.

·         Participate with the sales management directors in the effort to continually enhance the sales process and support tools that lend to more efficient and effective selling.

·         Coordinate contract execution/negotiations/fulfillments.

·         Develop a solid understanding of the Accuity product and markets.

 

Qualifications Required:

 

·         5+ years selling business-to-business to financial institutions and/or corporates.

·         Experience in developing executive relationships within Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions; multinational a plus.

·         2+ years managing sales teams desired.

·         Client focused, strategic and relationship selling skills.

·         Strong PC knowledge including: word processing; spreadsheet; and presentation software.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Knowledge of Salesforce.com.

·         Well organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.

·         Knowledge of banking or financial industry (payment or risk and compliance).

·         College degree; master’s degree a plus.


Job Condition:  Minimal Travel expected.
