Accountabilities:

  • Listening to sales calls and providing coaching and feedback to our sales employees 
  • Tracking and appropriately documenting coaching conversations and feedback activities and records in the appropriate format and frequency
  • Providing regular and ongoing feedback to local sales leaders and your line manager on progress with all new hires and other sales employees you are assigned to work with
  • To work closely with the Sales Coach & On-Board Manager to project manage and administer all sales coaching activities happening across three shifts spanning 24 hours

You are a bright, energetic and emotionally intelligent individual looking for your first or next step in your career in Learning & Development.  You ideally are or have been a sales person in previous employment as it is important that you are able to empathize and connect with your audience.  The approach you take to coaching, is similar to the approach you take with a client. You are naturally consultative, interested and engaged in every individual you work with because you genuinely are passionate about people and sales.

 

You have either been a team leader or have played a significant role in providing coaching to your colleagues as a sales person. You might not necessarily have any coaching or related qualifications, (we value you those too) but you have certainly been effective in providing feedback and coaching in your current role and have a natural ability to adapt to any personality irrespective of demographics or other factors.

You have a track record of excellent record keeping, some experience with leading a project and a natural tendency and ability to coordinate and organize your time effectively.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Emotional Intelligence – self-awareness, social awareness and the ability to effectively manage multiple relationships by listening first and adapting accordingly is critical to success in this role
  • Sales. – Experience in selling directly (Minimum 3 years) – If no sales experience, must have strong L&D experience or experience as a coach.
  • Coaching. – experience of coaching other sales people and providing feedback  - If no coaching experience, must have strong sales experience
  • Communication. – excellent written and verbal communication in English (other languages are advantageous)
  • Organisational Skills. – Proven track record of being accountable and effective in managing your own workload and 2 or more projects at the same time.
  • IT Skills – you need to be highly competent in Microsoft office and it would be highly advantageous for you to have experience of Salesforce.com CRM systems.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree of equivalent experience 
  • Any sales or coaching certifications advantageous where practical experience is less than 5 years
  • Strong, persuasive communication skills is essential
  • Confident in dealing effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to quickly adapt to varying client and/or project demands
  • Experience at working independently and within a team collaboration environment
  • Ability to learn new transaction processes quickly
  • Strong attention to detail is required
