Purpose of the Role:

 
This role requires an experienced project manager, used to managing multiple projects simultaneously to lead key, cross functional, cross country projects within the Customer Support Operations Asia team.
 
In addition, this role should actively support other in-country Project Leads to effectively deliver their projects, as part of the overall portfolio of projects for Customer Support Operations Asia. This role requires not just a person focussed on project delivery but also somebody who is able to coach and support, as well as provide management support for the overall portfolio of projects.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead key Customer Support Operations Asia Projects through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; project delivery to be in line with best practices and the APAC PMO project framework
  • Work with all relevant stakeholders to develop project objectives and scope, ensuring technical feasibility

  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques e.g. action tracker
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks - Maintain risks and issues log, plus related actions,
  • Maintain risks and issues log per project, plus related actions, escalating as necessary
  • Maintain project documentation on shared network drive / Share Point, ensuring accessible by all project participants
  • Provide coaching and support to other Project Leads within the Customer Support Operations Asia in-country teams, supporting them to effectively deliver their projects
  • 1st line support / key subject matter expert re project management within Customer Support Operations Asia
  • Regularly monitor and review Customer Support Operations Asia portfolio of projects, ensuring all in-country Project Leads provide complete quality updates (weekly)
  • Work collaboratively and strategically with stakeholders to ensure effective resource management of the Customer Support Operations Asia portfolio and that priority projects are being delivered in line with annual strategic objectives
  • Monitor and manage project initiation activities as well as required documentation/approval activities throughout the project life cycle – ensuring Project Leads adhere as necessary



 

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead and deliver projects
  • Qualifications in (or good knowledge of) different project management methodologies e.g. Prince 2 / PMP / PMBOK and knowledge of project management tools and processes
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders and ability to converse effectively with all levels of the business
  • Proven experience in working with multiple layers of communication, tasks and planning.
  • Exceptional conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Pro- active in seeking solutions and problem solving
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise and to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate Share Point skills (upload documents, create subfolders etc.
