Product Manager will lead product line that provides consumer notification to identity monitoring firms.  The ideal candidate will have specific experience with identity management, access management, identity authentication, user authorization.  Candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of customer data and target market.   Candidate will represent and support the needs of the customer to peers and engineering team. Will participate in the demonstrations to key stakeholders at product and program milestone meetings. The Product Manager will support multiple data reporting product lines accessible online via web portals and applications.

 

Responsibilities:

Customer Focus

Represents the voice of the customer in the product enhancement workflow diagram discussions in the SDLC product development life cycle meetings. Gathers requirements, writes requirements and documents user stories for online data reporting needs to exceed customer data product expectations. Maintains awareness of competitive market conditions. Stays up to date on news and incidents to ensure customer data products are up to date. Familiar with customer data frameworks, web accessible data reporting requirements, regulations and business processes. Sets realistic timelines and delivers customer commitments in a timely manner.

 

Data Driven Decision Making & Analysis 

Autonomously analyzes situations and data with hands-on experience in multiple web and online data reporting structures and formats i.e.: prefers SQL scripting, XML and batch delivery files. Proficient at reviewing and utilizing online data reports from predefined API dashboards to make customer business decisions and recommendations. 

 

Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle 

Executes on go to market launch plans as required. Works directly with internal sales, marketing, software development, implementation and external customers as well as development business partners. Gather requirements, document data product workflows and assess product needs in the marketplace. Trains and educates internal business partners.  Contributes to building marketing collateral, pricing strategies and customer needs expertise.  Directly addresses customer complaints. Interacts independently with customers through in person communications at various customer events.

 

Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle

Leads the execution of a product roadmap for a single feature area. Understands and utilizes the drivers for improving the customer experience. Leverages UI UX and web tools to coordinate activities to ensure quality web based data reports. Familiar with SDLC lifecycle, Agile methodologies and Scrum preferred. Defines, documents and prioritizes requirement changes for software engineering, QA and cross functional teams to ensure workflow diagrams and met. Performs UAT analysis to meet acceptance criteria. Participates and contributes to process improvement and version control change request activities.

 

Strategy & Commercial Acumen

Meaningfully contributes to the development and execution of the product strategy.  Makes links between personal customer goals and the product teams, business strategy and key stakeholders. Understands how role contributes to success of product and business strategy goals.

 

Technical Skills

Understands the company and customer technology stack at a high level. Web portal, API or UI UX development skills are strongly preferred. Aware of (UI UX, web forms, XML, SQL, Excel, Balsamiq, Tableau, Python, R, Java, .Net). Understands or familiar with the relevant technology architecture. Ability to engage and build rapport with developers strongly preferred. Ability to understand technology constraints and manage realistic milestones to meet the needs for multiple cross functional teams.

Experience and Education

Minimum Years of Data Product Management Experience: 2-4 years

 

Critical Experiences:

1.            Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities simultaneously.

2.            Demonstrated the ability to work with others to modify, enhance or maintain a data product and identify technology challenges.

3.            Demonstrated readiness to engage in work under minimal supervision.

 

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical subject (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essential.
